Double House Full For Billa 2

Ajith, the king of first day first show, is back with a bang. His latest, Billa 2, has recorded the biggest ever opening of Kollywood and fans are demanding many more special shows so they don’t have to wait too long to catch the film.
With several special shows and 50 shows at Mayajaal alone, Billa 2 is the big flick this weekend.
CEO of Mayajaal, Udeep, said, “There is a huge demand to increase the number of shows for Billa 2 for the weekend.
There is a show every 15 minutes in our theatres on the opening day. It will be shown on 12 screens at Mayajaal. There will be 60 shows on the weekend.
The tickets, even for weekdays, are almost sold out.” Abirami Ramanathan said the film is running in three screens at their
theatre. “All shows were houseful within an hour of opening the bookings.
We have special shows on Saturday and Sunday. All of Ajith’s films have had fantastic openings,” he said.
It is the same story wherever the film is running. Preetha R., PR and marketing manager of Satyam Cinemas, said, “Tickets are actually in demand for the weekend despite special morning shows. The weekend is are totally booked. It’s a double house full opening for Billa 2.” Producer Sunir has also ensured that distributors make a good profit from this opening. He said, “The film was sold for a record price. We have made the deals in such a way that all distributors will make money in all territories across the state. As distributors are the marketing lifeline of a film, we have chosen efficient distributors for Billa 2.”
