Ajith's Billa 2 heroine is a beauty queen

Parvathy Omanakuttan, former Miss India 2008 has been confirmed as the leading lady in Ajith’s much hyped Billa 2.
Parvathy had earlier made a disastrous debut in a Hndi film United 6. Her first film in Tamil Umamaheswaram directed by 21-year-old Nithin Ramakrishnan, is yet to be released. And she was the front runner to be Mohanlal’s heroine in Major Ravi directed Kandahar in Malayalam but was dropped after audition.
Sunir Kheterpal, one of the producers of Chakri Toleti directed Billa 2 in a press note says: “Parvathy was outstanding in her auditions and completely understood the subtle nuances of this pivotal role. She has an attitude and a screen presence, which will take her places. Later this week, she will be joining the unit in Goa, where Billa 2 is currently shooting”.

Parvathy, conveniently forgetting that she was launched last year with a lot of fanfare in Tamil said: “It is like a dream to be making my debut in the Tamil Film Industry with Ajith Sir. I am delighted to be a part of the Billa franchise and can’t wait to start work on the film.”

Samantha is Ajith’s Heroine

Thala Ajith, after tasting the big success of his latest film ‘Mankatha’, is currently busy with the shooting of his next film ‘Billa 2’. While many information about Ajith’s next project was highly been discussed it was learnt that Vishnuvardhan and A M Ratnam are the director and producer of his next and the latest talk is about the heroine of the project! 
Buzz is that Samantha, who did ‘Baana Kaathadi’ and ‘Moscowin Kaveri’ and a guest appearance in Gautham Menon’s ‘Vinnai Thaandi Varuvaaya’ in Tamil, is being considered for the role of Ajith’s leading lady in the actor’s next film. Seeing her raising popularity in both Tamil and Telugu the director, actor and producer are considering her for their upcoming film.
Samantha is currently busy with ‘Neethaane En Ponvasanth’ directed by Gautham Menon. The movie is being made as a trilingual – Tamil, Telugu and Hindi - and Samantha plays heroine in all the versions of the film. The actress is also having her other films in Telugu.

Billa-2 second schedule

Ajith Kumar’s ‘Billa-2’ started rolling much prior to the release of ‘Mankatha’. But the makers had took some break for a while so as to make some changes in the script. Now as everything is set right, the shooting of second schedule has commenced. Chakri Toleti has mentioned tweeting that the second schedule is on and it’s a pleasure working with Thala Ajith Kumar in beautiful locations.
