Ajith's Billa David better than Mankatha Vinayak?

Ajith's Mankatha team is said to have been a bit skeptical about his negative shaded character in the movie and were eagerly awaiting the movie’s response from the audience and Thala's fans.

Equally eager and nervous about his role, was Ajith's Billa 2 crew. We hear that Billa 2 which is a prequel to Billa, that actually talks about how David turned Billa a dreaded Don, who becomes a hugely popular underworlds don eyed by international and local police officials.

Billa 2 crew wanted to find out how Mankatha gets a response for his character as Vinakayak Mahadevan and were happy to have found a positive response from the audience on its release last week (August 31st ).

Billa 2 team as well as the crew of Mankatha were more than happy with the box office success of the film.

Sources say that to witness the audience response Producer Balaaji, and Director of Billa 2 Chakri Toleti had been to a theater in Egmore, where after catching up with the first day show and the fans response, producer was quoted saying, “David will be better than Vinayak Mahadevan.”
